NOTE: The Evolutionary Psychology Preconference will take place in Room 400 of the Austin Hilton.
Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to announce the 2004 Evolutionary Psychology Preconference to be held at the upcoming SPSP meeting in Austin, Texas. We have assembled an exciting list of speakers who will discuss topics ranging from stereotyping to family dynamics to sexuality. A featured sub-theme in this year’s conference is evolution and development.
We are pleased to announce that registration in our preconference includes the Austin Hilton Luncheon Buffet (a splendid all-you-care-to-eat dining affair)!
We invite attendees to display research posters during the preconference. Attendees may present new research or they may "pre-view" posters already accepted for presentation during the regular SPSP poster sessions. Please follow the Posters link on the left for more information.
We encourage scholars from all fields and theoretical persuasions to attend. Graduate students and others with emerging interests in evolutionary psychology are warmly invited to participate.
In the coming weeks, we will announce the detailed schedule and list the poster titles. Check back soon!
Due to the room size at the Hilton, spaces at the Evolutionary Psychology Preconference are limited. Please reserve yours today!
Sincerely,
Norm Li and Martie Haselton
